Painting New Orleans Blog

Hi Everyone,

You know those people that are just a joy to be around that lift you up? If you had to describe them in words you would end up saying something corny like - “she has good energy.” That is how I feel about this painting here, “Cafe du Monde with Sunset Clouds”, I can’t exactly put into words why I love it so much but it’s one of my favorites from 2018.

"Cafe du Monde" has been going strong since 1862 and only closes on Christmas Day or the occasional hurricane.  No trip to New Orleans is complete without their chicory coffee and beignets.
