Antoine's Restaurant

Antoine's Restaurant is a New Orleans Institution at 713 St. Louis Street that has been operating since 1840 under the guidance of the Alciatore family.  It is one of the oldest family-run restaurants and is known for serving several US presidents and Pope John Paul the Second.  Antoine's is know for inventing Oysters Rockfeller and Eggs Sardou, combining Classic French cooking techniques with those of South Louisiana.  I wanted this painting of Antoine's restaurant to be beautiful, light-filled and elegant.
