For Mardi Gras in 2021, I have started a series of colorful paintings of the elaborately decorated float houses to celebrate the resilience of the city. I think the float houses popping up all over New Orleans show that you cannot keep the spirit of Mardi Gras down even in the face of a pandemic. This print is of the Dinosaur Float House on St. Charles Avenue.
