This painting is of La Petit Theatre Du Vieux Carre, a small professional theatre in the heart of the French Quarter of New Orleans. I had a co-worker perform there when I worked in a gallery in the French Quarter. I was attracted to the bright saffron color as it was illuminated by the sun.
