"After the Rain on Royal Street" depicts a couple walking down Royal Street at the intersection of Royal and St. Peter. The red building with the elaborate ironwork balcony is the LaBranche building home to the shop called Forever New Orleans. This location has special signicance for me and I wanted to capture the timelessness and sense of possibility inherent in this view.
