Circus House

In 2021 the Coronavirus Pandemic meant that parades for Mardi Gras where cancelled.  New Orleans didn't give up and instead decorated their homes to give people hope.  Some of the most spectacular Mardi Gras Float Houses were on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans.  The Benjamin Monroe house is already elaborately decorated on a normal day, but for Yardi Gras they had a Circus theme provided by Kern Studios along with bright Mardi Gras lights.  I wanted to paint the house at twilight, getting the bright colors of the lights and a bit of the elaborate architechture.
