Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share how excited I am to be participating in an outdoor art and music festival on Bayou Saint John in Mid-City New Orleans. I am showing at the twelfth annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo on May 19th, 20th and 21st, on Bayou Saint John. The Art Market will be situated along the river where Moss St. intersects Orleans Avenue and I will be displaying from 4 pm to 9 pm on Friday and from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
This is my first time showing at Bayou Boogaloo and I am incredibly excited for this show because Bayou Saint John is a magic sort of place for me and my artwork. I love the haunting beauty of Bayou Saint John and trying to capture that sense of mystery and wonder I get from the reflections on the water. I have about ten new paintings of Bayou Saint John that I finished this week and I hope you can come out to the show and see them on the grassy banks of the very location that inspired them.
