A question I get asked a lot is whether I miss my paintings after they sell. The truth is it makes me feel wonderful when something I created goes to a good home. Beyond the financial aspect (I can buy more paint!!!!) I understand that artwork is a valued and celebrated part of a home.
Growing up we had a lot of artwork on our walls and my parents instilled in me the idea that paintings have value which can be passed down from generation to generation. I remember hearing them describe their artwork to visitors in a reverential tone and I think this made an impression on me. I like to imagine that a person who buys my paintings they will display the work proudly on their walls, they will tell visitors how special the paintings are, and will pass them onto the next generation as something worth holding onto.
How could that not make me happy?

Here is a recently sold painting of mine in a lovely Florida home.

Here is one of my paintings in a wonderful Oklahoma City home.
